Terms and Conditions
To book your party hire with Smarties Parties please contact us via the contact form on our website, email, Facebook messenger or Instagram messenger. We are very responsive to our messages, and look forward to chatting all things party with you!
To book your party hire package you must pay 50% non-refundable deposit. If you do not pay your deposit then your booking is not confirmed.
We accept bookings for any days of the week including public holidays.
The pick up time of hire items is subject to Smarties Parties availability and this will be discussed with you when booking your items.
Party hire is strictly for 24 hours.
Or if you would like to hire our items for 48 hours there is an additional charge of $100.
If you do not return hire items 24 hours after picking them up from Smarties Parties, your bond will be forfieted.
We have a strict 24 hour hire policy (unless prior arrangements have been made with us) as there are other bookings that will be awaiting pick up of the hire items for their parties.
Under NO circumstances is any decal, pins, blue-tack, sticky tape, or anything else to be placed on our boards or hire equipment.
The only decal that can be applied to our hire equipment MUST be ordered through Smarties Parties and placed on the boards or equipment by Smarties Parties.
Do NOT remove the decal yourself as it can damage our boards. Smarties Parties will remove this decal on return of your hire items.
The ‘floor sheets’ available for hire in some packages are NOT to be stood on. They are for decoration only. Please place them far enough back in your display so that they are not a hazard to anyone who is near the party hire.
We require $200 bond bank transferred to us a minimum of 4 days prior to collection of your hire items.
This bond will be bank transferred back to you within 48 hours of you dropping off your hire items, once we have inspected everything to ensure no damage or missing items.
If there is damage found on any items, the extent of the damage will determine the amount of your bond that will be forfeited. This amount is at Smarties Parties disgression.
Our hire items are hired out in protective bubble wrap (and pool noodles for some items) to protect them during transport. Please ensure that you return all items wrapped in the protective layers that you receive them in.
If they are not returned to us wrapped in the protective layers, you risk damaging our items, which can result in the forfeit of your bond.
The remaining balance owed for party hire must be paid to us a minimum of 4 days prior to collecting your hire items.
Once your final payment has been made, your event cannot be cancelled.
If you decide to cancel your event or change it to another date - we will not refund your final payment (unless extenuating circumstances, determined by Smarties Parties).
You cannot change your date of your booking within 1 month of your event.
Please send a photo of your drivers license prior to collection of your hire items. This photo will be stored while your items are hired out and deleted upon return of the hire items. We will not hire out our items without receiving a photo of your drivers license.
Please ensure appropriate transport is used to collect our hire items - our hire items must be transported in a vehicle that protects items from rain during transport.
Our hire items must NOT get wet under any circumstances.
They cannot be displayed outside during wet weather where they risk getting wet as this can lead to damage of our items.
All party hire is inspected and cleaned after drop off of items. If items are missing or damaged - your bond will be forfeited.
