Please take a moment to read our short guide to help you care for your balloons and ensure they last beautifully for your event.


🌡️ Temperature

  • Balloons are sensitive to heat. Extreme temperatures can cause them to expand and burst.

  • Keep your balloons in a cool, dark room before your event.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, as this can cause colours to fade and reduce the balloon’s lifespan.


⚠️ Sharp Objects & Friction

  • Keep balloons away from sharp or rough surfaces, textured walls, and anything that may cause friction.

  • Even gentle rubbing against rough areas or grass can cause balloons to pop.

🧒🐾 Children & Animals

  • Balloons are fun but can pose a choking hazard. Please supervise children and pets at all times.

  • Never intentionally pop balloons around children or animals.

  • After your event, dispose of balloons responsibly to avoid environmental harm.

  • Smarties Parties is not responsible for any incidents, damage or injury that may occur due to the mismanagement or improper handling of your balloons.


🚗 Balloon Collection & Transport

  • Please ensure you have suitable transport for your balloon display.

  • Large balloon stacks require a spacious car ideally with the back seats down or a large boot.

  • Place a soft blanket underneath to protect your balloons from friction or sharp edges.

  • Ensure your car is cool during transport - hot cars can cause balloons to burst.


🎈 Guarantee & Responsibility

  • All balloon displays are guaranteed until they are handed over to you.

  • Once balloons have left the Smarties Parties premises, we cannot take responsibility for any burst, damaged, or deflated balloons.

  • Clear gift balloons are inflated at least 24 hours prior to collection to ensure quality and monitor for any issues in advance.

  • We do not replace burst or deflated balloons once they have left our care.
